Well, it was definitely somebody's first time at a Ziggy Stardust concert...
For someone who found casual conversation with Antheans to be deeply satisfying, the effect of Ziggy's empathic powers being broadcast on stage were completely overwhelming - but in such a good way!
"Minoru!" Isamu held his brother up as they stumbled back toward the bar. "Minoru, what has gotten into you?!"
The younger twin was exhibiting clear signs of intoxication. But he wasn't high on alcohol or drugs - unless Ziggy's own high was broadcast along with his emotions. (and maybe it was...) No, Minoru was high on life! And the residual effects were very slow to dissipate.
"Didn't you feel that? Don't you STILL feel that?!" "Feel... what?" "ALL OF IT!" he smiled, flailing happily. "Ziggy, the music, the people, Ziggy, the memories, Ziggy, the colors, the sound, the vision!!"
"What I feel is a headache coming on. Even with earplugs, live music is always uncomfortably loud." he sighed, and looked around in desperation. There were a lot of people exhibiting similar behavior to some extent. Was this what he meant by the effects of Anthean empathy? "Excuse me! Can I get some help here? Please?"
