It's genuinely pleasing that an acquaintance he likes (and would certainly consider to be someone who could be a friend, given more time together) has found someone who seems to make him happy and who fits with Ziggy's lifestyle. Dorian knows that's half the battle sometimes, but when it works it's everything. Especially for peoples as long-lived as the Antheans, or immortals like Toby and himself.

"Congratulations. It sounds like you're a lucky man. He's here tonight, I'm guessing? What's his name?" He's curious about the kind of person that might hold Ziggy's attention.

Or curious until Toby's excitement about the vinyl starts getting distracting. He laughs lightly at the vampire's pouting, and then reaches for one of the wrapped vinyl records. "A signed vinyl, first album, and at least a few shirts and other items." It's important to support Ziggy at this phase, of course. Even if Dorian weren't more than halfway high from the concert, he would still be very much on board with that. "And after that, I'm thinking karaoke or dancing.
