Lucifer had been dealing well but sometimes there are triggers that open wounds you're trying to close. You hope they don't come when you're in a good mood but the universe usually isn't that kind. The universe shoves things into your face when you don't want it and when you aren't ready for it. And in those moments you have to find your own bandage to stop your own bleeding. It drove him to look for Ziggy Stardust.

"Can I use your piano?" It was a simple request while Lucifer tries to stifle his emotions around the empath. He had seen Ziggy playing it during the concert and it still sat on the stage.

"What's wrong?" The concern was there and Lucifer imagined it was the same worry the singer would have for anyone in pain. He was a person with a big heart but Lucifer shook off his question.

"I just want to sing something." Lucifer forced a smile. "It has a nice acoustic line if you want to play."

Ziggy didn't skip a beat as he asked his band mates for his acoustic guitar. If anyone in this bar understood the power of music when you felt pain it was the singer who'd been on stage earlier in the night.

Lucifer went to the piano and as he sat broke into a smile as Ziggy jumped up on it like some gangly leopard. 

Lucifer starts to play and then sing. Ziggy taking in the pain from the angel and pushing it out in the guitar notes. He didn't ask and simply let the emotions wash over him.
