Why not in the Nexus had started all of this and now skekSa's bar had glitter and space themed drinks for the night, karaoke and a band playing for the release of a new album. Ziggy had decided this was the best course since so much of his family and friends couldn't go into his world to be there for his own party in his own world.

Of course, as with any good party this one was open to any who had stumbled into it and there were those directly invited as well. And flashy posters too. He was going through the ends of a sound check with the band when the bar opened.

There was a merch table, with the usual swag and new album to buy on CD and Vinyl, where they would be signing autographs and doing the whole meet and greet thing. Why not have fans in more than one universe? It had been a trip explaining this all to Mick. Weird and Gilly before dragging them through the portal. Ziggy still imagined there was going to be some crazy moments later in the night. They didn't even know he was an alien, or half alien anywway. All of this was going to blow their minds for sure.

After the show they had plans to spend the night just hanging out with drinking, karaoke, a DJ, and the usual bar fare. Ziggy had left Sa to the food and drink though he had put in a few requests for food his own species could eat.

Ziggy fussed with everything before heading backstage to drink and get dressed. About an hour after the bar opened they came out on stage and played through the whole album front to back plus a few from the previous.

skekSa's fashion sense and Ziggy Stardust's are not the same - but she had offered to give him free reign on redecoration for the party. The results are, well...very interesting. Ziggy's got better taste than skekEkt, at the very least.

Ziggy knows how to throw a party, that's for sure, but she has a feeling she'll be picking glitter out of her feathers for weeks. She's wandering the bar, serving drinks and chatting up customers. There are familiar faces here - Rondo, Balthazar, young Ben Solo - mixed in with new ones. She greets them all the same, introducing herself and passing out menus.

She's going to enjoy herself, she thinks.

While Minoru went off to mingle, Isamu waited patiently at the bar as the hostess served other customers.

"Excuse me, may I see a menu, please?" he asked politely. "What are the specials for this particular occasion?"

"Ah, and who may you be, darling?" The Mariner doesn't recognize this newcomer. "I haven't seen you around before, hm?"

She passes him a menu quickly. "The menu includes a list of specials for tonight. There are a few on offer to celebrate the new album."

This was the first time either of the twins had been to this venue.

“Isamu Uchiwa. Pleased to make your acquaintance.” He nodded respectfully, taking the menu. “And yourself?”

"skekSa!" Ziggy came bounding over after playing. He was high on energy and drugs by this point. "I wanted to say thank you and give you something."

He had a blue cloth bag with him patterned with stripes. He hands it over and inside are the contents to make drinks for his people. Something he will explain.. the pills to purify water, the plants for muddling, the semi-alcoholic fruit syrup and a list of human alcohol compatible with their system.

Still more glitter. skekSa doesn't have a particular problem with it on principle, but it goes everywhere that Ziggy goes and she has a feeling that it'll take time to clean up. Still, she has to appreciate his enthusiasm.

"Thank you, Ziggy - so, tell me a little about these things you gave me. They're clearly for some sort of purification system for alcohol."

She hasn't asked but Ziggy definitely plans on staying after and helping with the clean up, some of his family probably would too. He's played enough small venues to know it is polite.

He pulls out the pills first. "My species can't drink most water without these. We just use one of these in a pitcher or bottle of water. Then these are some plants we use in drinks." They were all dried in small teal colored bottles. "They're safe for humans but... hmmm I don't know about your species."

The final thing he pulls out is a bottle of blackish blue syrup. It really looks more like ink probably. "This is just for Antheans. It isn't toxic but it messes with the minds of other species. They hallucinate and I don't know what else."

Then he pulls out a list of things. "And I made you a list of common drink ingredients that are safe and toxic for my species so you can experiment and make your own drinks."

Ziggy hops up on the bar to sit, grinning up at the still much taller woman. "You've got good style. I like the colors." Antheans loved blues so her feathers were particularly eye catching to him.

Another familiar face arrives at the bar; the young woman that skekSa will remember from Harley's roller-skating party. She gives the skeksis a shy wave, not wanting to interrupt her from her work, but not wanting to be rude, either.

"Oh! Adia! It has been a while." skekSa waves when she sees the familiar face, then beckons with a clawed hand. "Come, don't worry, dear, you aren't bothering me. I could use the rest from work. How have you been doing lately?"

Adia's expression brightens as she joins skekSa at the bar. It's always easier to have a conversation with someone that she's already met. "Oh, I'm doing fine. Harvest season is almost over in Atlantis, so we're just wrapping some things up before we settle down for the winter. We might have cocoa and coffee beans to harvest next spring."

It may not seem very exciting, but considering that Atlantis has been without coffee and chocolate for so long, it's something that she's very much looking forward to.

"How are you doing? Your bar is very nice -- um, from what I can see of it underneath the decorations." She smiles sheepishly, tugging at the sleeves of her fleece jacket. "I didn't realize there was a concert going on until I walked in..."
