Ziggy Stardust Nexus Album Release Party

Why not in the Nexus had started all of this and now skekSa's bar had glitter and space themed drinks for the night, karaoke and a band playing for the release of a new album. Ziggy had decided this was the best course since so much of his family and friends couldn't go into his world to be there for his own party in his own world.

Of course, as with any good party this one was open to any who had stumbled into it and there were those directly invited as well. And flashy posters too. He was going through the ends of a sound check with the band when the bar opened.

There was a merch table, with the usual swag and new album to buy on CD and Vinyl, where they would be signing autographs and doing the whole meet and greet thing. Why not have fans in more than one universe? It had been a trip explaining this all to Mick. Weird and Gilly before dragging them through the portal. Ziggy still imagined there was going to be some crazy moments later in the night. They didn't even know he was an alien, or half alien anywway. All of this was going to blow their minds for sure.

After the show they had plans to spend the night just hanging out with drinking, karaoke, a DJ, and the usual bar fare. Ziggy had left Sa to the food and drink though he had put in a few requests for food his own species could eat.

Ziggy fussed with everything before heading backstage to drink and get dressed. About an hour after the bar opened they came out on stage and played through the whole album front to back plus a few from the previous.

"It's the best way to behave." Jack just tore through the laws usually bu there were some he skirted artfully.

"Thanks. I could never pull of this slinky dress though." Jack tugs at the fabric gently. He's a flirt but this is friendly.

"I did." Jack nods. "I might bring my kids here soon."

"You just need to pull it off gently." And Harley is still a flirt. It is a nice fabric. Harley has a great tailor who assists her with all her outfits.

"I hope you do. If you want them to hang out with other kids, let me know."

"I'm always gentle with my teeth." Jack grins and notices she is without a drink. "Can I get you something? Drinks, or something stronger?"

"We have to modify the house first for my girl." Jack brightens noticeably. "Do you have kids too?"

"Doesn't matter how strong the drink is... the sweeter the better." Harley lives off the taste of the drink, since she is unable to get drunk off any alcohol.

"Not my own kids. But the adopted kids of my lover."

"They are being cared for by their Adopted Uncle right now. But they sort of went through a bad time themselves. A horrible battle basically destroyed their world and most of their family."

"Let me order you something." He smiles and encourages her to step up to the bar with him. He orders two Blue Hawaiians because they are sweet in a way he can drink and they are bright blue.

"I didn't know you had a lover with kids." Jack is keenly interested in this line of discussion.

"My three aren't mine. I took them in because kids that are different or disabled are killed or vaporized like I was." He tells her and sympathizes with the children she is talking about helping raise. "Sometimes parents drop off their kids to protect them from the Ministry. Two of mine were given to me by their parents so they wouldn't be killed."

He offers Harley her drink and smiles but a little worried. "My lover hasn't met my kids yet but I think he'll like them."

"You have not met him yet. Loki... my Loki... has been out of the Nexus for the past couple of months." She makes the important distinction, since she knows there are other Loki in the Nexus.

Harley listens to how Jack has adopted the children in his care. And brushes her hand over his shoulder. "I am glad they found you."

"Oh? You found yourself a lover? Anyone I might know?"

There's sympathy for her plight and he forces a smile. "I hope it's because he wanted to."

Jack came from a world where people going away or being away often meant kidnapping or prison. Old thoughts die hard.

He's grateful for the contact and nods. "I didn't think I wanted them but when they brought my girl it changed everything. Her parents still sneak out to see her when they can."

This topic could go dark easily but he tries to stay positive.

"I don't know if you do. Balthazar, but.. mine, like you said and not the other one." It was strange to talk this way but then people mistook him for Ziggy too. "He's around. He went to get a drink and probably got side tracked talking to people."

"There was a situation in his home universe. Where basically half the lives of the world were taken. And he is helping the heroes to correct the time line. I am glad he decided to do that... even though I imagine he is meeting challenges."

"But I miss him every day." Harley admits.

I know a Balthazar. The one who is in a relationship with Lucifer." Not that doesn't mean he can't see other people. "I didn't know there was another one around."

"Gosh I do hope I have been flirting with the one I know." Not that it would stop her to flirt with a stranger.

"I'm sorry." Jack puts a hand on her arm but it's an obvious offer for a hug. He knows well that not all trauma makes you want touch. "My twin has to go home soon too. He's trying to save Earth. I feel like a lot of people here have this going on. I hope he comes back safe and soon."

Jack thinks about his own world but sighs because there isn't much anyone could do to turn it around.

Jack nods, grateful for the change to something more positive. "I think mine and the other one are friends." But that gets a laugh. "He would have mentioned me. I keep running into people who know me because he told them. I can introduce you if you want to make sure."

Harley leans in to the offer of the hug. She is very touch friendly. And closes her eyes for a moment. "I try not to worry. And wish I could be at his side."

"And I feel a little restless these days."

"I am always up to meet new people." Harley grins.

Jack is also very touch friendly. He hugs her tightly and as they linger Harley will certainly notice the thin, frail nature of his bone structure, almost bird like. "I would too if I was in the position."

Jack was scrappy for his thin frame. He'd always rather to be at a partner's side if things were dangerous.

"Do you need some company?" He asks without the undertones of proposition. This is purely concern talking.

"Let's go find him." He smiles back at Harley. "You'll have to tell me about your Loki sometime. He must be a hell of a man if he's got you." Jack gives her a little squeeze and then reaches for her hand to get ready to weave the the crowd to find Balthazar.

Harley has a lithe body structure herself. Her bones are not frail, mostly because of her gymnastic training has kept her fit. But she is a toned skinny. Just a little on the not eating well edge of skinny. And so she is gentle with her hug, since she notes his frail bone structure. No big Bear Hug with enhanced strength right now.

"I have been seeking it out, any way I can." She admits. It is part of the reason she went to the Halloween party. To this party. To be around people.

"But it definitely is different. Going home. And not having that … comfort... to reassure me when the nightmares come." Harley still freaks out in the middle of the night. Remembering that moment of almost losing her sanity in a panic.

"He is one man who has actually important enough to me, that I do not take another male lover right now." Harley chuckles, as she follows Jack to find his Balthazar. "Of course, he loves to see me flirt. God of Chaos. And lies. He knows why I do it."

Balthazar had just ordered himself a Dirty Hooker cocktail from the bar after downing several angel scotches already. It was time for something else and he was drunk. The angel sauntered through the crowds of people and noticed the tell-tale flash of red hair. Not Ziggy though. Jack. That and he was being accompanied by a young woman who was dressed in a star-themed dress.

"Darling, I see you have some company. Hello there, I'm Balthazar. Angel and lover to Jack here. Has he been telling you dirty secrets about me?"

A playful smirk and the angel giggled slightly. The angel booze obviously now affecting him as well as the euphoric empathy.

"I'm always up for company. I don't sleep much." Almost never if he's honest and he still doesn't know why. The offer is genuine too and one of kinship. Jack feels like they have quite a bit in common even if he doesn't know her well. "I can bring the kids for yours too if you'd like."

"He sounds just like the type you need." There's something about being accepted and even loved for who and what you are that can never be over valued.

Jack smiles and kiss the cheek of his very drunk partner, though knowing Harley's situation doesn't linger or make too much of it. "This is Harley, and I don't need to. You'll end up telling her yourself."

It always amuses Harley to see others being drunk. As a psychiatrist, she gets to see the true colors of some people, when they are under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.

"I might already know dirty secrets about you. Or the other you." She teases, with a light smile.

"Are you having a fun night?"

"Is that right? How devious of you both."

Balthazar was indeed very drunk but that didn't stop himself from wanting to meet Jack's friends. In fact, he was going to have a ball in meeting them. Harley seemed like someone who would attract a man like Jack just because of her obvious fun nature.

"Oh, I'm having a ball, love. Someone's obviously placed coke inside my drink and it's doing odd things to me. The music and the buzz, well---it's euphoric."

Sipping his drink, Balthazar raised an eyebrow.

"Dirty secrets? Now what would they be, hm?"

"I love devious people, so do you." Jack laughs and though he is close to Balthazar he hasn't loosened the grip on Harley's hand either.

He looks up at Balthazar and then at Harley. "I need this gossip."

"Oh is there coke in the drinks?" Harley is immune to most toxins, drugs and poisons. But that might be for the best... she is already excitable enough... that she doesn't need to have extra euphoria in her system. "I find it usually has a nice sweet taste to it."

Harley leans in, as if she has an actual secret to share, and then just stage whispers. "Oh just how he is a fan of feathers, glitter, and a good flirt."

"You know I do, love. How could I not since we're both devious in and out of the bedroom."

Balthazar being obviously flirty and open since he was drunk and allowing his tongue and thoughts to flow freely, even in front of Harley. As for the drink? Yep, definitely coke.

"Oh, feathers, glitter and a good flirt? That sounds about right."

He giggled softly and nibbled at Jack's earlobe, biting it and then nuzzling into his neck. Someone take this angel home.

"I'm not surprised he's putting coke in the drinks, unless you're the one doing it?" Jack gives the angel a suspicious look after what he saw and heard about the Halloween party.

"You definitely are into those kinks."Jack smiles but as Balthazar he starts laughing but his attention is on Harley.

"Those sound right for you too, doll."

"Oh that is just the tip of the iceberg of my kinks." Harley grinned. She found another drink, one with a lovely chocolate-covered strawberry that she could suck on delicately.

She was overjoyed to see Balthazar and Jack enjoying each other's company. And only 10% envious. Okay maybe 20%.

"How scandalous! As if I'd go around spiking people's drinks with coke. No, it isn't me, darling. You might want to ask your twin on that one."

A playful kiss to Jack's cheek and the angel was focused on Harley once more. It seemed she liked to indulge in food porn just as he and Jack did. The ice cream didn't really take off last time they were together since they ended up in the bedroom before taking one bite.

"Oh? You enjoy a little food porn then, Harley?"

"You should share." Jack encourages Harley. It was always interesting to learn about other's kinks.

"Ziggy would spike cocaine with cocaine if he could." Jack says with a laugh.

He sees that little wisp of envy and drags Balthazar a little closer so he can put an arm around her too. There's no need for her to feel left out.

"Most of them boil down to this..." Harley pulls down the top of her dress slightly, where she has a Daddy's Little Monster tattoo. (The tattoo itself is drawn on her skin with marker). And she grins. "Daddy kink. I like it when my men know what they want in the bedroom."

"And as long as everyone knows their limits, I like to play a little with bondage. You can take the girl out of Arkham..."

Harley leans on Jack, when he puts an arm around her. Appreciating the fact he sensed her mood and is trying to include her.

"And yes, food porn. Peacocking. Dress up."

Balthazar gazed at the tattoo on Harley's skin and smirked. Well now, that was certainly different and kinky in a way too. He was starting to like the way this girl thinks. Of course Jack would be drawn to being her friend. A moth to the flame as they said.

"Delightful, love! I appreciate the aesthetic of it all. Kinky too."

He pulled his arm tighter around Jack and Harley whilst leaning in close to nuzzle his lover's neck, pressing small kisses there. Food porn and dressing up too? The angel really liked Harley's choices.

"Oh, food porn! I do enjoy a bit of that myself. Lathering sticky things onto my abs so someone might wish to lick them off..."

Offering bedroom eyes to Jack before giggling and nipping his earlobe. Did he have any shame while doing this in front of Harley? Nope. Blame the coke.
