The young man does look a little paler than usual, even for somebody who's already pale.
Ben tries to project warmth to the baby. Not a feeling he's used to sharing, even in an erratic state, but he's trying to help.
"Was it Honerva?" Ben takes the hand gratefully. "I hope she wasn't on to us - though I imagine she knew we were moving to do something." He remembers being warned how powerful the witch was.
