He lifted a hand in a shushing gesture, but Tom was already well aware of that. The silence had to be a blessing for all the Antheans - especially with their heightened senses.

“He’s asleep...” he whispered very quietly.

Tom would probably notice the gin was untouched. There was no additional broken glass on the floor. This was actual sleep, not sedation.

And truth be told, Minoru was more exhausted than he realized.

“Thank you.”

He reached for the water first. He’d been talking for at least an hour straight - maybe longer. He’d really lost track of time - and his throat was parched. He got through a few bites on the veggie sandwich, though, and could barely keep his eyes open.
