“Not EVERYTHING I climb around on is filthy.” He laughed. Though, given the nature of an urban obstacle course, a lot of it was. He couldn’t really deny that.
There were a lot of feelings to sense. Embarrassment-turned-relief, happy-go-lucky optimism, care and concern for Ziggy’s needs and feelings, the simple desire to finish wringing all the water out of his hair…
“Okay.” He smiled back. As it started to dry, his hair really did just start sticking up in all its usual crazy directions. “If you need anything in here, help yourself.”
Minoru made his way past the rows of tea candles, and hopped down on his bed. It was smaller than Ziggy’s. But so was their apartment, compared to the rock star’s townhouse.
Minoru’s room was neat, but sparse. With Kazumi living out in the main room, Minoru didn’t really have a lot there aside from a small table by the window (it basically doubled as a stool), a chair with a stack of textbooks on it (hilariously, that seemed to double as a table) and a few nice plants. His bed was low to the ground, and haphazardly made. The shelf next to his bed was ground zero for the important items - wallet, PINpoint, keys, the framed acceptance letter for American Ninja Warrior and various pictures of the family. A yoga mat was rolled up underneath it, and his gym bag wasn’t too far from that.
