"All the Diamond Dogs skate. They'll be glad to see you try." There might be some friendly teasing or giggling but nothing harsh toward the young man if he fell.


"It's polite to ask. Something Ziggy taught me." Jack was honest and then grinned. "And do you like your boys masculine or feminine?"

Jack was turning on the charm. Zack was intolerably cute with his innocence and blushing. He gave his hair a little tug at the ends, playful and flirtatious.

"I do but... I still work." He wasn't as bothered by that as his partner was. "I have adopted children that I take care of and this is the only work I've ever known."

He didn't mention that it was all he remembered. Maybe there had been something before this but Jack had no memory of it, whatever it was.
