Damien was street smart in a way that wasn't quite necessary here and in some ways he wasn't street smart at all. People were staring at the two long haired men holding hands as they walked down the street. They might well get confronted just like they would in England.
"I don't remember what they serve there." Mostly because the place was an empty husk in Damien's world.
