The Terror Tour
[Continued from here]
Ziggy was happy to bring everyone out to a upscale bar in New York City. This was a celebration of all three bands coming together for a tour. It was going to be rowdy and certainly blow up social norms. He loved it and the others did as much as he did.
The Hammers, The Hell's Angels, and The Spiders from Mars were going to bond over booze and food at The Plunge. Bar, restaurant and rooftop pool with a DJ. It was everything they needed to unwind. He left Mick for a moment once free of the elevator to call up Jack. He was all too willing to bring up a gang of boys and girls and some of the more androgynous Diamond Dogs for the evening. Food and booze on Ziggy and the other bands to pay for their own wants or needs. There would be a whole group of punk and glam Dogs here soon, all young in the 18-25 range which was suitable since that was around all the bands' ages too. Then he went to rejoin Mick and get a drink.
Gloria walked slowly with Weird, worried but glad they were free of the elevator.
"Do you want me to get my own bed?" Rik teased between laughs when he was questioned about his decision to stay in the other guitarist's room. He leaned in whispering. "I like sleeping with you, in any bed."
He giggles as he's pulled out of the elevator, slipping away to wrap his arms around Billy as they walk. It's awkward and he's laughing but this is what was missing for months now.

Damien started laughing as he watched the building fronts for something that looked promising. "I won't be bearing my ass but I'm up for dancing and... I'll try not to get arrested."
Damien winked at the drummer because after pulling a gun on the street, cops were possible. Eventually they came up to a place called the Metropolitan. The club music was obviously thumping and the crowd lined up for the door looked more on the queer end of the spectrum. Damien had noticed more than one pair of men in the line holding hands.
"Want to try here?" He looked over the signage. 18 and over. He assumed the drummer had some sort of ID. He would have to make do with cunning or breaking in.
no subject
"Sure. I mean I do have ID if they want to see it. Just means I can't drink but whatever. We can still dance though."
This was the main reason why they came to the club. Not to get drunk but to enjoy one another's company and to be accepted for who they were. No one was going to attack them or throw nasty insults here since it was a gay club. Men were allowed to hold hands here.
"Looks a cool place. Shall we try to front door first? Or shall we go around the back?"
no subject
"I can't get in the front with the revolver and no ID." He whispered to Zack. Never mind the knife at his back and he wasn't about to dump them. "Go on in. I'll meet you inside by the bar."
He pressed enough money into Zack's hand to get a soda inside and then kissed his cheek. "I don't need a door."
Damien left Zack to duck down the alley. He'd have to work his way through the building maybe but he could do this. At least there wouldn't be any Ministry messing with him inside, just people to avoid so he didn't get thrown out.

Zack shook his head and scratched the back of his head. He often forgot that Damien was a walking arsenal and if he got stopped and searched then they'd find a lot of weapons on him. That would be bad. So, he nodded and took the money, thanking the Dog while he watched him duck out of sight around the back.
Walking up to the line he soon got approached by the security guy as he asked for ID. Zack showed it and was let in without incident. It just meant no booze. Well, none he would buy himself anyway. Damien could get that. Stepping inside the loud busy club he immediately felt very shy around the other customers dancing and watching him closely. Was he being watched? Some guys took an interest and giggled as he walked past their table. Shaking any bad feeling off, Zack bought himself a soda at the bar and then glanced around trying to pick Damien out. He'd be the tallest in the room easily.

He paused to remove his shirt and put his jacket back on. He would have to keep it on to hide the weapons but the bar was going to be hot. He pulled the shirt through his back belt loops to both hide his knife more and not have to carry it.
Stepping out of the stairs he looked for the bar where he could already see Zack. Here. Damien's personality was coming out as the paranoia about injury subsided. The Dog worked his way through the crowd, using his skills of disappearing in them to sneak up behind the drummer. The first indication that he's there is a hand sliding around Zack's hip from behind.
"There you are."
no subject
"You managed to get in then. I suppose I shouldn't ask how. Thanks for the soda though."
Smiling shyly, he held his soda up and took a sip. All the eyes staring towards him and his tall friend got Zack a little more self conscious about his surroundings but tried to ignore it. The Dog was tall and imposing so of course others were about to stare. Pressing himself a little more into Damien, he looked up through his mass of curly hair and blushed.

"Should we go out and dance?" He's watching the people out on the floor, grinding against each other in time with the thumping music.

Zack just giggled at his rather silly comment but none the less wanted to spend this night with Damien doing things that rock stars and young men should do. Going to clubs, dancing and having fun. Didn't Damien want a drink first though before they went out onto the hot dance floor?
"Do you want a drink first or shall we dance? I don't mind waiting a bit."
He was still very shy with all the people around, since he didn't have his drum kit to hide behind this time. Usually, the crowds are way back in the stands too and not right up close. Here everyone was either dancing, making out or being intimate in a corner somewhere. Zack's eyes are immediately pulled to Damien's naked chest which had a shirt on earlier. Maybe he was feeling hot? The drummer wanted to touch it as he slipped a palm against the Dog's toned chest.

The longer he was around the more that felt true. The young musician was everything Damien liked and he knew Jack was well aware of this.
"I can't." Damien didn't much care because he wasn't a drinker. "I don't have an ID."
The Dog was watching the dance floor and the way the people were grinding on each other to the beat. The idea of pressing his body against the drummer and making out like the people under the hot lights got a long sighed breath from Damien. The touch to his bare skin of his chest quickened his breath. He's not shy about anything and leans in to kiss the side of Zack's neck.
"Let's dance." Damien smiled but he could already feel the fluttering of arousal thinking about how close he was about to be with the drummer.

Zack was nervous but was trying to hide his nerves by smiling shyly under his long curly hair. Damien seemed to be far more confident than him in this kind of setting as he felt the kiss to the side of his neck. Oh. That felt nice and it tickled slightly as the drummer blushed even harder and giggled softly. Not wanting to be a complete idiot, Zack slipped both hands onto Damien's waist and held them there so that they could dance.
"I've not danced with many boys at all so sorry if I tread on your feet."
Glancing around he noticed the other couples being much closer to one another and it got him panicking a little. What if Damien wanted more and Zack wasn't ready? The idea of running away was cowardly but his flight instinct always kicked in when he couldn't deal with a situation. Not wanting to ruin their evening, he smiled up and kissed Damien's lips softly and then nuzzled into the Dog's neck, as they danced slowly.

The hands on his waist felt good. Damien slowly tugged Zack closer, wanting them to be pressed in close.
"You're a drummer." Damien gave some encouragement. "Follow the beat and my body. You'll get the hang of it."
Right now, Damien wasn't thinking of much other than feeling a bit of spark and a whole lot of attraction. The Dog wrapped his arms around the drummer's waist and pulled him in even closer until their bodies were pressed together but he didn't hold too tightly. He slowly started to move so that Zack could get into the groove of the music. Damien knew how to dance, mixed with his flexibility and athleticism he could grind dance easily. The pace more sensual than sexual at the moment.

Zack already loved being close with the Dog and Jack obviously knew they would both click together. The slow dancing and grinding was hot and the drummer looked down to Damien's feet then back up to his handsome face. Even in the flickering club lights he looked so hot and sexy. No wonder other dancers were shooting glances at the pair now and then. Getting the hang of the beat, Zack easily got into a good rhythm, holding onto Damien's waist and moving a hand up so he could bury his fingers in that long hair.
"This is nice. Just the two of us like this."
Feeling the heat of the dance floor and the lights, Zack's face was nearly on fire due to the blushing and everything mixed on top.

"Do I get more time alone with you after tonight?" Damien whispered as he pushed his hands up into the back of Zack's hair. Those curls were the devil's work for how much he wanted to touch them.
no subject
Not only that but was Zack wanting Damien to be his? Almost....possessive in a way? It would seem so as he stuck close to the taller man, holding him as they danced in time with the beat of the music. Others were doing the same with their lovers so it made the drummer feel at ease as he leant up and kissed Damien's lips lightly. Giggling softly, he felt some of his awkwardness melt away.
"Do you want that? I'd love for you to come back to my hotel room, mate. We could chill and relax."
Whatever Damien wanted really. Even though they'd only met a few hours ago at the bar, Zack wanted the Dog to be his close friend---no, boyfriend. He wanted Damien to be his boyfriend and that got his heart really pounding.

Zack's eyes went wide and he then didn't know what to think because his mind was racing out of control. Did Damien mean talking and chilling out or? He was slightly nervous about the other thing people did together in the same room. Feeling Damien ground up on him caused the drummer to blush and pull away slightly. Was it becoming a bit too much? Maybe.
"Nice moves. Uh---I'm thirsty. Maybe another soda needed."
He pushed his hair out of his face and glanced over towards the bar.

"I'm dying in this leather out here." He took Zack's hand and started leading him toward the bar. It wasn't a lie. The heat was getting to him from all the people on the dance floor. Something cold would be good.
no subject
Zack blushing knowing full well it was more than just the lights making the drummer hot under the collar. It was the handsome young man he was currently dancing with. Up close and personal. Yet, he needed space. Walking towards the bar, Zack smiled up at the Dog and tried to reassure him.
"It's been a good evening so far. I like being with you like this, Damien."
The drummer slid his hand into the Dog's and squeezed it.

Once they stopped at the bar Damien slid an arm around Zack's waist while flagging down the bartender.
"I hope you like it enough to come out with me again." He smiled down at the drummer after ordering two beers, surprised that they were giving them out to him even without the mark for being legal to him. He wasn't going to complain.
no subject
Zack loved to do that to chill and relax after drumming or doing some heavy practice with the band. Since he didn't partake in all the drinking and drug taking he often just went off and did his own thing. Spray painting or just getting out his skateboard and perusing around town. Taking the beer he sipped his quickly, hoping that the security didn't find out that he was under 21.
"This feels good. Just being together and doing what we want. Fuck the law."
He smiled and could feel some of Joe and Viktor's influence rubbing off on the innocent drummer.
no subject
"It does feel good." He agrees while stroking Zack's side with one hand and taking a drink from the beer with the other. "Fuck the government!"
no subject
Zack took his career seriously but he was enjoying the time spent with Damien so far even if they'd only known each other for a short time. The drinking in public felt particularly good because he didn't often go out drinking because of his age. That and he didn't really drink much. Holding onto the Dog, he sighed.
"Fuck the government, yeah. Maybe we could go bowling next time? I haven't done that in ages."
no subject
That was the truth of the situation. In a day or two Damien would have to go home, if not sooner, and who knew when he would have a chance to get back again. He sighed at the thought, leaning into the drummer slightly.
"I've seen a bowling alley but I've never done it." He didn't mention that it was a destroyed building in part of Hunger City. Zack didn't need to know the harsh reality of his life, not right now.

Zack felt his cheeks heat but knew Damien was a Diamond Dog and had his responsibilities back on Jack's world more than anything. So, the shy drummer was going to make the most of the time he had with his Dog. The Brit squeeze Damien's arm affectionately then kissed his cheek softly.
"You haven't? Then, we need to go bowling together soon. Before you have to go back."
no subject
The kiss on his cheek had the Dog's eyes go a little wide but he relished the shy drummer coming out a little more as they stood in the bar.
"Is that our next date?" Damien teased, but he wouldn't mind both because it meant time with Zack and would involve trying something new.
