Ziggy Stardust Nexus Album Release Party

Why not in the Nexus had started all of this and now skekSa's bar had glitter and space themed drinks for the night, karaoke and a band playing for the release of a new album. Ziggy had decided this was the best course since so much of his family and friends couldn't go into his world to be there for his own party in his own world.

Of course, as with any good party this one was open to any who had stumbled into it and there were those directly invited as well. And flashy posters too. He was going through the ends of a sound check with the band when the bar opened.

There was a merch table, with the usual swag and new album to buy on CD and Vinyl, where they would be signing autographs and doing the whole meet and greet thing. Why not have fans in more than one universe? It had been a trip explaining this all to Mick. Weird and Gilly before dragging them through the portal. Ziggy still imagined there was going to be some crazy moments later in the night. They didn't even know he was an alien, or half alien anywway. All of this was going to blow their minds for sure.

After the show they had plans to spend the night just hanging out with drinking, karaoke, a DJ, and the usual bar fare. Ziggy had left Sa to the food and drink though he had put in a few requests for food his own species could eat.

Ziggy fussed with everything before heading backstage to drink and get dressed. About an hour after the bar opened they came out on stage and played through the whole album front to back plus a few from the previous.

"Hey Ziggy!" Astro greeted as he approached the merch table. He considered opening his arms in invitation for a hug, but was still on the shy side to initiate. If Ziggy was willing, he was all for hugs. In Astro's mind, they were family after all. "I really enjoyed the show! I've never been to one before." He admitted. "I even brought some money from home so I can get a t-shirt and a copy of your new album." He wasn't sure if they had one his size though. He'd just get the smallest one and see if it fit.

The robot teenager extended his greeting to the rest of the band sitting with Ziggy. "I'm Astro. Nice to meet you guys."

To say Ziggy is amped up to 15 on a scale of 1 to 10 might still be an understatement. He jumps over the table to greet the boy who most certainly gets a hug. The emotions coming off the Anthean are all over the place between the drug high and the excitement from performing, though as crazy as they are love, hope, affection, and pride make up the bulk of them.

"I didn't know if your dad would let you come." Ziggy knew his own father would but he knew Astro had his own father too.

Weird and Gilly aren't the most social but do say hi. Mick, the blonde guitarist, has a more outgoing attitude that isn't as wild as Ziggy but as openly friendly.

"You're Ziggy's little brother?" Mick asks leaning over the table a little. He has kids of his own so this is old hat by now. "He's a wild man."

Astro's eyes get wide as Ziggy hops over the table and soon finds himself with the singers arms thrown around him. He laughs in delight and hugs him back - caught up for a few moments in Ziggy's emotions and super charged high.

"Oh, he knows I'm safe with your Mom and Dad." Astro assured. "I would have loved for him to come, but he's not really a concert guy. I'm sure I'll eventually get him to come see the Nexus and meet you and the family sometime though. When it's quieter." He added, grinning with another laugh.

Astro reaches out for a handshake when the blonde guitarist leans over to talk to him. "He really is." He said happily when he said Ziggy was a wild man. "Super fun though." He looked a little shy. "And yeah! I'm a little brother. His parents took me in while I'm here in the Nexus."

"Maybe for the holidays." Ziggy was not much of a holiday celebrator and Antheans didn't have them but his dad had a distinct love of Christmas.

Mick shakes his hand and laughs at the comment. "The old man tried to take us in too."

"He did bail you out of jail." Ziggy counters, obviously there is a funny story here for all the amusement. That appears in all of thier expressions. He turns his attention back to Astro. "We found another family member. I don't think you've met him yet."
