Ziggy Stardust Nexus Album Release Party

Why not in the Nexus had started all of this and now skekSa's bar had glitter and space themed drinks for the night, karaoke and a band playing for the release of a new album. Ziggy had decided this was the best course since so much of his family and friends couldn't go into his world to be there for his own party in his own world.

Of course, as with any good party this one was open to any who had stumbled into it and there were those directly invited as well. And flashy posters too. He was going through the ends of a sound check with the band when the bar opened.

There was a merch table, with the usual swag and new album to buy on CD and Vinyl, where they would be signing autographs and doing the whole meet and greet thing. Why not have fans in more than one universe? It had been a trip explaining this all to Mick. Weird and Gilly before dragging them through the portal. Ziggy still imagined there was going to be some crazy moments later in the night. They didn't even know he was an alien, or half alien anywway. All of this was going to blow their minds for sure.

After the show they had plans to spend the night just hanging out with drinking, karaoke, a DJ, and the usual bar fare. Ziggy had left Sa to the food and drink though he had put in a few requests for food his own species could eat.

Ziggy fussed with everything before heading backstage to drink and get dressed. About an hour after the bar opened they came out on stage and played through the whole album front to back plus a few from the previous.

Katiri definitely felt a little bit out of her element. It didn't mean that she wasn't enjoying herself. It was just a situation she wasn't used to finding herself in. Still wanting to keep abreast of the situation with Honerva and the Stardust family, she decided to attend the concert to not only hear some of Ziggy's music, but to also be in proximity to protect the family as well.

The Guardian definitely turned a lot of heads when she moved through the throng crowding skekSa's bar. Wearing her Solstice armor, it glowed in places with pale blue light just like her eyes did. Luce, getting into the spirit of the concert, had equipped his Neon Helix shell. He pretty much matched the bright colors Ziggy was known for, going by the colors on his posters. He bobbed alongside her, darting this way and that.

During the concert itself, Katiri got something to eat and drink and sat tucked away off to the side, so she could watch the room and the people. She was armed, though not obviously so. She had her side arm clipped to her hip and if she needed more Luce could transmat the rest. The Awoken woman was clearly enjoying the music, swaying a little in her seat with her eyes closed - one with the moment. The emotions in the venue were high, and she was experiencing many emotions within herself. Even Luce was swaying in mid-air from side to side. Both Guardian and Ghost were content and at peace; a rare commodity to be savored.

It was the floating camera like thing that attracted Jack's attention first. Paranoia welling up to the point he felt panicked by the presence. His eye stayed locked on it while he drank and that is when he noticed the person with it. That certainly wasn't a ministry agent. Nothing at all like one.

Still, when he walks over it is Luce that has his attention.

"What are you?" He asks the floating light and the humanoid is forgotten for the moment. Jack's body language is wary and his emotions are wildly uncomfortable but that doesn't mean he isn't going to find out what this hovering thing was.

Katiri's glowing eyes looked up curiously as the man approached, though she sipped her drink as Luce was addressed. The Ghost rose up in the air to be more eye level with him, but did not approach any closer. He'd been around long enough to recognize someone who was skittish at his presence. Even Katiri had been wary and afraid when she first met him after he had raised her from the ancient dead.

"I'm a Ghost!" The little mechanical being said cheerfully. "My name is Luce. This is my Guardian, Katiri." He bobbed at her in introduction and she offered a small smile. "You can sit with us if you like." She said, gesturing to a chair. "We know the Stardust family and I came to make sure everyone here is safe."

Luce put in his two cents with a very human sounding chuckle. "And to listen to awesome music."

When Luce answers it startles Jack and he steps back a little awkwardly. He looks to the woman but the eye comes right back to the floating thing.

However, revealing that they know Ziggy's family relieves some of the tension.

"I'm related to Ziggy. We're the same species." Jack tells them warily, though his appearance probably gave that part away. They nearly look like twins.

Luce drifted back slowly when the other man stepped back, not wanting to startle him with the movement. If any emotions were to be sensed from the little Ghost, it was mostly curiousity, concern as well as compassion. He genuinely cared about other people. This in a way, echoed in his Guardian, who was watching the exchange. It was interesting to note some kind of deep connection between the pair. Like their life forces were intertwined somehow; intrinsically linked.

"I had wondered if you were related." Katiri said with a small smile. "The resemblance is uncanny."

"Ohh, you are an Anthean? It is an honor to meet you." Luce bobbed, tones cheerful and polite. He thought of something he recalled from before and added: "If the bright lights of my shell bother your eyes, I can change it to something more comfortable." He knew Anthean eyes were sensitive, from what he had learned thus far. "I just saw all the bright posters and couldn't help myself. I don't use this look often." Considering he would light up like an obvious target on a battlefield it was a bad idea.

"His partner thought I was a clone." Jack shrugs. "I'm not. No one knows how we're related yet but we're the same kind of hybrid."

Any look at Jack will reveal his mind is strange, oddly empty and devoid of memory. Parts of his mind are blank and others are suppressed. There is a lot of emotions coming off of him, most of all is suspicion, fear, and curiosity that is mostly directed at Luce.

"I guess I am." Jack tells the Ghost. "I don't know really. I was vaporized at home and don't remember anything."

"The lights don't bother me. Ziggy thinks they partially blinded me or did something to my eyes too." Jack's words come uncertain and wary.

remembers what Guardians are from her conversation with Blaze, and knows something of who they are and what they do. She greets both of them warmly. She may be a pirate, but she respects the Guardians and what they do regardless, and hasn't forgotten Blaze's generosity.

She was growing tired away from the sea. It's part of her being - of SaSan and urSan's being, too. That's always the case in whatever form.

"Hello, lass - and who may you be? You're a Guardian of the Last City, but the only one I've met before you is Blaze-37. She offered to find me a path to the sea that doesn't involve stepping on anybody's claws, something I'm indebted to you for."
