Ziggy Stardust Nexus Album Release Party

Why not in the Nexus had started all of this and now skekSa's bar had glitter and space themed drinks for the night, karaoke and a band playing for the release of a new album. Ziggy had decided this was the best course since so much of his family and friends couldn't go into his world to be there for his own party in his own world.
Of course, as with any good party this one was open to any who had stumbled into it and there were those directly invited as well. And flashy posters too. He was going through the ends of a sound check with the band when the bar opened.
There was a merch table, with the usual swag and new album to buy on CD and Vinyl, where they would be signing autographs and doing the whole meet and greet thing. Why not have fans in more than one universe? It had been a trip explaining this all to Mick. Weird and Gilly before dragging them through the portal. Ziggy still imagined there was going to be some crazy moments later in the night. They didn't even know he was an alien, or half alien anywway. All of this was going to blow their minds for sure.
After the show they had plans to spend the night just hanging out with drinking, karaoke, a DJ, and the usual bar fare. Ziggy had left Sa to the food and drink though he had put in a few requests for food his own species could eat.
Ziggy fussed with everything before heading backstage to drink and get dressed. About an hour after the bar opened they came out on stage and played through the whole album front to back plus a few from the previous.
[OOC: Feel free to mingle, karaoke, DJ, dancing, drinking, etc. Will post the band meet and greet below at the swag table as a top level. Any questions feel free to DM me here or on Discord.]

Date: 2020-11-30 11:00 am (UTC)Tony offered her a friendly smile and sipped his drink. The stuff about Rogers? Yeah. That cut a little deep and he wondered when he'd see his friends again. The PINpoint came in handy but he'd hardly used it since he'd got here.
"Yeah. I should use the PINpoint device and go back to New York one day. It's just my life here has been more than interesting lately."
Not to mention he was falling in love with an angel. The devil of all people. That didn't give him the need to want to go home. Yet, she was obviously upset about stuff and rightly so. Tony's expression softening offering her a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, it's ok. You don't have to feel sad, sweetheart. We're all friends here within this vast Nexus. Also, microbiology? That's really useful. You're a talented young woman, Adia."

Date: 2020-12-01 02:52 am (UTC)Adia understands all too well the draw of the Nexus, although she can't help but be puzzled over why Tony wouldn't want to go back to New York. Didn't the other Avengers need him? Being a superhero must be exhausting, though, so she can't really blame him. Gods know she's used the Nexus as a break from the problems in her own universe before.
"Sorry... I don't mean to bring the mood down, especially at a concert..." She smiles apologetically, appreciating the sympathy. And the compliment, although she shakes her head in response. "It depends on the subfield of microbiology, you can get really esoteric while studying microbes, but thanks. I do a lot of vaccine work now, which does make me feel useful. Are you working on any projects here in the Nexus?"

Date: 2020-12-17 05:23 pm (UTC)Tony had his reasons for not wanting to go back. Perhaps, he just felt guilty for allowing one of his creations to become self-aware and apparently too damn sentient for his own good. Ultron was now reckless and downright evil. Killing innocents and offering up no regrets. Tony hadn't intended for that. Maybe being in the Nexus was the easy way out.
"No, it's fine. Don't worry about it. Projects? Uh, you could say that. Loads. Mostly in my workshop, which in fact, you're welcome to visit. Anytime."
He offered her a friendly smile and hoped they could be good friends.

Date: 2020-12-18 12:43 am (UTC)Despite having been friends with Steve, and currently friends with Thor, there are large gaps in her knowledge of what sorts of battles they faced in their universe. She has no idea who Ultron is, or that Tony was responsible for creating him. Considering that her own world was torn apart by a war between humans and sentient robots and that she is currently married to one, this could at the very least lead to some awkward conversations.
But for now, Adia is blissfully ignorant, happy to potentially make another friend. "I'd like that very much. Should we exchange PINpoint information, or is your workshop easy to find?"
