Distinguishing marks: Scars on left hand and wrist from reconstructive surgery, two bullets scars; left shoulder and just left of center in the chest.

Abilities/talents: Accomplished and well-known musician/songwriter, instinctive ability to read people in social situations, empathic, telepathic, hypnotic voice, perfect pitch, stage make up, costume design, sewing, accomplished guitar and bass player, also saxophone, piano, violin, standing bass, harmonica, tambourine, and other instruments. Languages spoken: English, Anthean, Japanese, some French, German, Spanish, and Russian. Like most Antheans has a high IQ (near 190-200)

Personality: charismatic and charming, witty, stubborn, hopeful, worried, naturally poised and confident, easy going, gentle and passive, indulgent, soft spoken, generally kind but blunt and brash, addictive personality (Addicted to cocaine, booze, and attention), open and accepting (except for deceit), sexually accepting and promiscuous with the right people.

Born sickly and needed genetic and hormone therapy due to mismatched genetics. Antheans and Humans are supposed to be no longer compatible though they once were. Has normal 23 human chromosomes (XY- male in the human 23rd chromosome pair) and 15 extra unpaired chromosomes from his Anthean heritage (XO- female in the 38th pair which determines Anthean female). Grew up with very doting and worried parents because he was an anomaly and sickly. Spent 12 years with both parents before his father returned to Earth. Lived another 68 or more years among the Antheans before coming to Earth himself. He's matured and aged much more slowly than a human. Appearing in his early 20s and acting, at times, like a human teenager rather than a 20 something. Very close with his father now that he is on Earth. His father used his work leverage to create Ziggy a realistic identity as a British/US dual citizen.

Ziggy arrived to Earth with the grave knowledge that there might only be five years left before destruction came. He became a rockstar that promoted hope, love, creativity and individuality. Loved by his audiences, his wild behavior and huge ego alienates him and makes him many enemies. The band becomes disillusioned and smashes his hand to end his career after only a year. Reconstructive surgery went poorly but Ziggy refused to stop playing. He was also shot by an unknown assailant during his rehabilitation. No one is sure if it was a band member, enemy opposed to his message, or an angry fan. Rumors abounded that he was killed in the incident. Having survived both with his hope and spirit intacted, he is currently working on returning to the stage full time and continue his message with the Spiders from Mars.

Anthean Biology and Culture Ziggy possess/practices:
Biology: Very long lived though not sure how long because he's half human, bone structure finer and more fragile than human (elfin appearance), reduced sternum and scapula, only 4 toes, no appendix, better functioning and larger lungs, has pointed canines and extra teeth (from blending of human and Anthean), his normal body temperature is around 75 F, dizzy and ill from high speeds/g forces, has additional sex organs beyond the human particularly in the palms and lower abdomen, has slit pupil eyes (hides with contacts) but blue instead of Anthean yellow, sees IR to UV (broader spectrum than humans and beyond), Incredibly empathic both receiving and transmitting, possesses the Anthean telepathic abilities, high intelligence, nutritional needs slightly different than full human, highly sensitive hearing (can hear insects in the grass and the earth moving, heartbeats, etc) , increased grace and agility, more resilient to most mental illness but more susceptible to addiction, only sleeps every few days

Cultural: physical contact a big part of communication, pacifist (illness from violence), prefers crunchy and starchy foods, feels strongly about apologizing and making amends, fond of life and water, incredibly gentle but also very arrogant, no hangovers and altered metabolism of drugs (For example Anesthetics don't work and give him a headache, saline solution raises his blood pressure dangerously) , doesn't raise voice except when singing, Anthean love of mixed patterns and bright colors (particularly reds and oranges)
